Read my profile of Provecho Restaurant on The Daily Bruin’s website here. Looking for up-scale Mexican cuisine? Provecho has it, offering black truffle mushroom and halibut ceviche, a killer coffee-mole crusted foie gras, and lobster chili rellenos. Don’t miss their drink specials like the best-selling Provecho margarita, a fusion of cucumber and agave nectar, with a chile-lime rim. This is not one of my bargain picks, but owner Jill Bigelow is a UCLA alumna and Provecho is a great place for a fancy night out in downtown LA.
