Noshing on the News: The Counter Opens New Location in Westlake

On April 6, LA’s renowned classy burger joint The Counter’s new Westlake location opened for business.

Frugal Nosh found out this burger-licious news from the LA Times’ Daily Dish (and EaterLA). This is The Counter’s fifth Southern California location and it will offer its signature BYOB – Build Your Own Burger – as well as a similar menu to its sibling restaurants.

The BYOB has over 312,120 combinations of burger goodness, with toppings like Gruyère or Danish Blue cheese, dried cranberries, fried egg or chili, and sauces like the peppercorn steak sauce or the carmelized onion marmelade. For vegetarians or non-beef eaters, they also offer grilled chicken, turkey burgers, and veggie burgers (which are pretty tasty, I hear). I suggest you check out the menu online before you, and bring your notes with you for speedy ordering.
