Recession Affects Organic Food Demand

On March 31, 2009, the agricultural news source Brownfield Network reported changes in organic food demand as a result of the economy. It seems that the recession is prompting consumers to spend less on expensive organic products in order to save more. However, the article also reports that despite the decrease, the market is still growing, just more slowly.
